Mykonos

Petros (Peter) the pelican is the legendary mascot of the island.

In Mykonos you will meet two more pelicans keeping him company, Irene and Nicholas.

We often meet them next to the church of St Nikolas or where people are offering fresh fish.

For the history....the first pelican named Petros was killed in a car accident in 1986.
